The District Council held meeting on Thursday 6th October 2022 at the Kok Hall attended by the RDC Mr. Lotem Tumkori Linos, LCV Chairperson Mrs Evelyn Chebet Kubarika, CAO Mr.Onzu Ismal and all Heads of Departments KDLG

The Vice C/person and Leader of Government Business at Kapchorwa District Council Hon Badru Sabila Arapswalle on behalf of Executive presented names for approval by councilors to the following positions:-

DISTRICT SERVICES COMMISSION

2. Chesakit John- PWDs.
3. Satya Joseph - Urban.

DISTRICT LAND BOARD
1. Chemonges Joseph Alfred - C/person.

PDM A SUCCESS IN KAPCHORWA.

The RDC Kapchorwa Mr Lotem Tumkori Linos has praised both Technical and Political leadership for positively supporting Parish Development Model because we have not registered any bad results like other districts.
PDM is an initiative of the President H.E Kaguta Yoweri Museveni to end poverty among Ugandan citizens.
This was while addressing council members at Kokhall.

PDM TO GET A VEHICLE

The Committee of Production Kapchorwa District Council led by C/person Hon Daniel Chemonges has recommended to the Council that Parish Development Model (PDM) takes over the NAADS vehicle for its smooth operation and service delivery.

The recommendation awaits its final verdict in the next Council sitting.
Hon Daniel was presenting a Committee report before the District Council at Kok Hall Kapchorwa.
