SITE HAND OVER FOR MILK COOLER AND COFFEE HULLER TO NGUJJO INVESTMENTS LTD

Kapchorwa district team led by Deputy RDC and CAO has handed over the milk cooler and coffee huller to Ngujjo investment for completion.

The equipment was brought to the district in 2009 by the MAAIF program but was not fully installed thus prompting the district to go an extra mile to use the local revenue to functionalize the project. This equipments are expected to start operating by mid January 2024.

The DRDC Mr Martin Sakajja in his speech thanked the NRM government for giving this facility to the people of Kapsinda to uplift their economic status.

He caution PDM beneficiaries to use the money rightfully especially dairy and coffee enterprises for the benefit of this facility.
_"PDM money is refundable and not a bribe by H.E to be voted, but the President wants to see everyone financially empowered"_

The Secretary works and Social services Mr Murtamai Patrick represented LCV Chairperson, asked the people to produce more milk and coffee, he caution Ngujjo to show value for money.

The CAO Mr Martin Kiplangat asked the people of Kapsinda to work harder so that the cooler is not taken away,
_"Let us not celebrate because this is just the beginning of the journey, my pleasure is to see people getting money from this machines especially PDM beneficiaries"_ he said
He thanked them for taking good care of the machines as no part is missing.

The DPMO Mr Felix Sabila asked the community to leave useless fights that will affect the progress of this facility especially politics and religion.
He thanked CAO for standing with the people of Kapsinda, he defended this agro processing project strongly before the PS ministry of local government.

Present at function were the DEC members, Deputy CAO, OWC head Sebei region, CFO, DIA, Production team, S/County leadership, and the community.

The project sum for full functionality of these two facilities is UGX 25,000,000.
