EDUCATION AND WORKS MONITORING

Kapchorwa District leadership which included the RDC, CAO DISO, Secretary for Production and Heads of departments had a site monitoring visit to the two Seed Schools under construction.

Bam Contractors and Surveyors worn the contract for Tumboboi Seed SS in Kaptanya S/County. All the work is still in foundation level that's six Classroom blocks, Administration block, Laboratory, ICT and Library.

Later in the afternoon the team visited Teryet Seed SS contracted by Ngujjo investment Ltd, Laboratory, ICT and Library block still on foundation level, Multipurpose block almost completion, 6 stance latrines complete, while Teachers quarters not yet started.

The RDC Mr Lotem Linus asked both contractors to do quality work for the people of Uganda because that's the NRM mission.

The CAO Mr Mussa Onzu argued both contractors to speed up so that money is not swept back to the Centre, at least by 10th June, work should be done.
