Location & Size

Location:

The District is situated at the slopes of Mt. Elgon in Eastern Uganda.  It is bordered by Sironko and Bulambuli Districts to the West, South and North respectively and Kween District to the East.

  Size:

 The District has a total land area of 517 Square Kilometers’ and is situated approximately 254 Ms. Eastwards from the Capital City of Kampala and 66KMs East of Mobile Town.
